Description of the Plant:

A woody climber. Leaves oblong-lanceate, acuminate. Flowers fragrent in axillary cymes. Fruits pyriform, 5-7 cm long.

Mode of Uses:

A paste prepared from the leaves is taken for snakebites and a root extract taken to reduce swelling of the body (Chakma).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar.
