Description of the Plant:

A small tree with spreading crown. Leaves rough, entire, elliptic or oblanceolate; stipules recurved. Flowers sessile, whitish or greenish-white, in large villous spreading panicles.

Mode of Uses:

Crushed leaves are applied to the chest for the treatment of chest pains (Chakma).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar.
