Description of the Plant:

A scandent shrub, branchlets stellately pubescent. Leaves simple, elliptic to elliptic-oblong or obovate. Flowers brick-red in extra-axillary 2-3-flowered fascicles.

Mode of Uses:

A bark extract is taken for the treatment of diarrhoea (Tripura).

Distribution:

Rare in the forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar.
