Description of the Plant:

An undershrub, branches slender. Leaves 1-foliolate; leaflets 2-6, oblong or lanceolate. Racemes terminal rarely lateral. Flowers bluish-purple.

Mode of Uses:

A root extract is taken for the treatment of jaundice and a root extract is taken in addition to a paste of the leaves being applied to the head, for tetanus (Chakma).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar.
