Description of the Plant:

Stem decumbent, rooting at lower nodes, diffusely branched, quadrangular. Leaves ovate to ovate-deltoid, coarsely crenate, serrate. Flowers axillary solitary.

Mode of Uses:

A paste of the leaves is applied to affected areas for the treatment of fractures (Chakma).

The whole plant is eaten as a vegetable (Murong).


Throughout Bangladesh.
