Description of the Plant:

A prickly scrambler, stems and petioles armed with numerous curved, broad-basd, yellowish prickles. Leaves obtusely 3-5 lobed, rarely hastate. petiole as long as or longer than lamina. Inflorescence extra-axillary, 3-8 flowered. Pedicels divergent, teeth narrow, sparsely stellate. Seeds long, discoid.

The fruits pestled and then cooked or made chutney (Chakma, Tripura, Marma, Bawm).
