Description of the Plant:

A small tree. Leaves elliptic or elliptic-oblong, acuminate. Flowers subcampanulate. Fruits berry, small pea sized.

Mode of Uses:

An infusion of the leaves is used for baths to treat boils in children (Chakma).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet and Moulavi Bazar.
