Tribal Name: Rakta chondon (Tripura).

Description of the Plant:

A medium sized tree. Branches obscurely grey-brown. Leaflets long, rounded at both ends, slightly emerginate. Racemes and pedicles shorter. Pod silky at first, wing narrower and style brought down to the basel corner. Rare in hilly area.

Mode of Uses:

Sap of stem taken twice daily for three days for the treatment of conjunctivitis (Eyes become red) (Tripura).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet.
