Description of the Plant:

A stout terrestrial herb about 60-90 cm. Leaves elliptic, acute or acuminate, broadly petioled. Inflorescence spike, dense and many flowered. Flowers yellowish, spurred.

Mode of Uses:

A root extract is taken for boils (Tanchangya).

Distribution:

In the forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar.
