Description of the Plant:

Scambling evergreen shrub, armed with axillary recurved spines. Leaves oblong-elliptic, acute or shortly acuminate. Fruit globose, rind thick.

Mode of Uses:

A paste prepared from the leaves is applied to boils and also taken for the treatment of chest pains (Tanchangya).

Distribution:

Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox's Bazar.
