Description of the Plant:

A terrestrial golden fern; rhizome short, fertile lamina divided as much as in sterile ones. Sori grey-brown at maturity. A terrestrial golden fern in hilly areas.

Mode of Uses:

A paste of the leaves is applied to affected breasts for the treatment of breast pain by the Chakma. The leaf extract is taken, and a paste of leaves is applied to the whole body, for the treatment of hysteria by the Tanchangya.

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar and Netrokona.
