Description of the Plant:

Parasitic shrubs. Leaves opposite and alternate, very coriaceous, base acute. Racemes slender fascicled shorter than the leaves. Flowers pale red.

Mode of Uses:

A paste of leaves is applied to lower abdomen for the treatment of gastric ulcers (Tanchangya).

Distribution

Almost throughout the country as plant parasite.
