Description of the Plant:

Perennials, subshrubs, vines. Stems usually 1, weakly erect, spreading, or clambering (branched). Leaves, alternate, petiolate or sessile, blades pinnately nerved. Flower inflorescences. Occasionally found in marginal land.

Mode of Uses:

Extract prepared from root is taken two or three tea spoonfuls twice daily until cured from antifertility and child abortion before delivery (Tripura).


Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox’s Bazar and sylhet, in fallow lands.
