Description of the Plant:

Large or small tree frequently with aerial roots which never develop in to trunks. Leaves very variable, elliptic-oblong, oblong-ovate, entire or sinuate, tomentose, base cordate or rounded. Fig sessile, globose.

Mode of Uses:

The crushed leaves are applied to affected areas for the treatment of boils (Chakma).

Distribution:

Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet.
