Description of the Plant:

Creeping shrub, stem pubescent. Leaves broadly ovate, base obliquely cordate.Figs solitary, obovoid, borne on peduncles.

Mode of Uses:

A paste of the leaves is applied to affected ears for the treatment of ear infection and is also applied to affected areas for the treatment of rheumatism (Chakma).

Distribution:

Forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet.
