Description of the Plant:

A gragerious shrub. Leaves alternate or crowded and subterminal, shortly petioled. Flowers in fascicles. Berry orange-red.

Mode of Uses:

Pills prepared from the leaves are taken with warm water twice daily for the treatment of measles by the Chakma; a root extract of Dracaena spicata and Pandanus foetidus is taken together and administrated to healthy children during outbreaks of measles by the Tanchangya.
