Description of the Plant:

A thorny, sometimes climbing shrub. Leaves terrete, glabrescent.Leaflets elliptic, obovate or oblong.

Mode of Uses:

A warm leaf is pressed to affected areas for the treatment of styes (Chakma).

A spoonful of powdered root in a tumblerful of water is beleived to be effective in destroying the effects of alcohol.

Distribution:

Forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Sundarbans.
