Description of the Plant:

A robust herb with long, cylindrical caudex. Leaves large 60-90 cm long, triangular-sagittate. Peduncle shorter than the petiole, spathe 20-30 cm, pale yellow, spadix equaling the spathe.

Mode of Uses:

Whole plant is used as vegetable. Curry prepared from the whole plant is taken every day those are suffering from habitual constipation, anal inflammation and rheumatism.

Distribution:

Cultivated all over Bangladesh.
