Description of the Plant:

A small tree. Leaflets obliquely oblong, lanceolate, broadly elliptic-lanceolate, base narrowed. Flowers dull white. Capsules-1-3-Cocci.

Mode of Uses:

The bark is applied to the ear for the treatment of partial deafness (Chakma).

Distribution:

Forests of Chittagong, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Cox’s Bazar.
